Vikas Melvin Lobo is a dynamic and passionate HR professional with over 13 years of experience in multi-cultural environments. He has honed his skills by working in dynamic, fast-paced, highly matrixed multinationals. Vikas is passionate about people and highly engaged in creating a positive workplace culture. Currently, Vikas is an HR Business Partner at Rogers Communications. In his previous role at Strides, he was the DGM - Human Resources Business Partner for the KRSG plant, the globally largest and flagship manufacturing site of Strides. Vikas led a team of 17 passionate employees across functions of HR, Admin, and OHC. He designed and drove the People Agenda, aligned with the business strategy for KRSG, and leveraged AI chatbot, SEEK platform, open houses, and skip-level meetings to connect and drive meaningful interventions to improve overall employee experience. As the Head HR for Kerala & Tamil Nadu Circle at Airtel, Vikas led a team of six passionate employees across functions of HR & Admin. He designed and drove the People Agenda for KTN Circle through a consultative approach with stakeholders. Vikas also led the talent review process and identification and engagement with HiPo Talent to build a pipeline for critical roles. Vikas has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Symbiosis and a B.E. in Biotechnology from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He also holds an Associate's Degree in PCMB from St. Joseph's University and completed his ICSE from St. Joseph's Boys' High School. Vikas has experience in AI and has worked with DarwinBox functionality.
